James is the President of Akers Wealth Management. James has over 2 decades of experience in financial services. In addition to being an Investment Advisor Representative, he is an expert Financial Planner with a focus on Retirement Planning and helping clients find ways to save on taxation in retirement.
Valerie is the Vice President of Administration, and her focus is customer service and administration. All our clients are treated like family and if we are on another call, she gets back to our clients within minutes! Our clients know they are in great hands with expert planning and client centered customer service.
James and Valerie have 5 kids and one bonus son (Son-In-Law), 3 of which are grown and living in other states and 2 that live at home with them in the Summerlin South community of Las Vegas, Nevada. When not working, you will find them on the golf course, at a Golden Knights game, or watching one of their kids play ball.
